Procedures Seminar

Course Objectives :

To familiarise staff with current procedures and advice on best practice in security vetting. Also to identify the different types of security clearance and take a look at the various forms currently in use and how they are to be used.

Who should attend the 2 day seminar?

This seminar is essential to all recently appointed OC’s, 2IC’s, CPO’s and ACPO’s of GLSU’s who as part of their duties supervise the work carried out associated to security vetting of both DEL and Dependant employees and are/maybe responsible for signing associated documentation. Attendance is also strongly recommended in respect of CO’s, OC’s and Unit Civil Labour Officers of Category ‘B’ units.

 

Who should attend the 1 day seminar?  

All personnel with a responsibility for authorising and control of contractors required to enter military establishments within BF(G). Cat ‘B’ units, Defence Estates, GWA, Prom, QM’s and SSO’s who have a day to day responsibility for the handling of security documentation in respect of new and existing contractors for granting permission to enter military premises. This seminar is also beneficial for those employed within units (Civil Labour Clerks) who wish to have an insight into and be better able to understand the need for mandatory procedures in respect of security vetting.


The course is designed for all Dependants about to leave BF(G) to take up employment elsewhere.

However, all Dependants are welcome to attend irrespective whether they are currently in employment or not.
